Juggling Job And School

Juggling Job And School

Is getting a job freshman year in college a bad idea?

I’ve heard it’s one of the worst things to do because you’re trying to adjust living on your own and juggling school and friends and being your boss. Is it really that bad?

Try getting a campus job, if you do decide to work. They are very flexible when it comes to hours and scheduling.

Is really is not that bad. If you don’t learn time management, then you will struggle it will hurt you in college eventually.

In fact, you are going to an university that does research. Talk to you university’s career center or professors about any jobs a student could do. Usually, such jobs are for 2ND year and up students who have taken the needed course work, but some times a researcher/professor needs things done that just require the interest and motivation to do.

They look really good on resumes.
